My Maginhawa Foodie Diaries: Red Hana, Sushi Restaurant, Matalino St - Quezon City

I and my friends were looking for place where we can dine-in and have our long chit-chat moments. At first we were undecided, because there were countless restaurants and coffee shop that you can choose from. But in the end, the winner was Red Hana sushi restaurant.

Japanese theme were all over the restaurant. Though the space was limited, it was maximized well. One thing I had observed was, due to limited leeway of restaurant. As soon a huge volume of customers arrived, it became noisy. I think they need to expand their space so they could cater more customers who would like to dine-in at their restaurant. The ventilation is good.

As soon we seated at the table, crew handed us their menu

And we chose... Beef Ramen (P190) and mixed california maki (170). Don't worry! Red Hana sushi restaurant serve Big serving meals that could satisfy 2-3 person/s.

Beef Ramen, I'm not too satisfied with it's tasted... that feeling, there was missing... and that it's flavor. The Beef ramen wasn't too salty nor nor too bland and the beef was not tender. My over all judgement is.. a savoring flavor is the key for a palatable meal and that's what missing in this meal.

Mix California Maki, the overall presentation was good, the taste was okay but not delicious unlike the other restaurant that offers California Maki like Yakimix.

Do not be discouraged about this food blog, I think the other dishes that they offer are delicious!

Why? because there were enormous customers who were dined-in there. If you are a Japanese cuisine lover, I think you will surely love this restaurant. Thank you for reading! God Bless you! :)
