Zentea are offering delicious fruit tea for only P60.00. the fruit that i ordered that time was 3berries fruit tea, no add ons, and no yugart since I have tight budget that time... to be frugal is most essential thing for me.
But wait there's more...
since my friend is craving for ilocos empanada and I have only P50 pesos left. I thought I can't make it in our second round of food trip...
However, the good thing was Farińas Ilocos empanada is offering empanada at an affordable price. They have ordinary impanada which is P40.00 and special impanada which is P50.00.

Curious where Farińas Ilocos impanada located? You can find it at Malingap Street, UP Teachers Village infront of Mayfield school where in my best friend is currently teaching. Actually she was the one who discovered this delish foodie restaurant that offers palatable dishes at affordable price which you and your family can enjoy!

Okay let's go back to my P110 journey! I have only P50 left, because I spent the P60 for XL
3 berries tea at Zentea Maginhawa.
When we arrived at Farińas Ilocos empanada, we find first our seats and then settle down. The first thing in our mind, was a waiter who would approached us to take our orders. However the owner approached us and said, kindly take your orders inside the restaurant. You heard it right! this restaurant is a self-service restaurant wherein you are the one who will take your orders and other stuff like utensils, condiments and water. It's okay!

Self-service in a restaurant was a great thing... It teaches us to be responsible in doing minor things like getting utensils and other stuff. So, after the owner informed us. I and my best friend immediately took our orders inside the restaurant and we ordered Special Empanada! which is P50 only. The empanada that Farińas Ilocos empanada offered is a unique empanada, because it is not a empanada cooked from bread but an empanada that similar to taco. It was fried rice flour to a crisp and filled with toge, vigan longanisa, and egg.

Tadaaaaa! Finish product! It looks like taco but it is a unique Filipino snack that you can partner with rice.
My P50 was worth paid off!
It's crispy crust and the delicious taste of vigan, egg and toge with vigan vinegar was well blended... However, I felt suya (fed-up) but the vigan vinegar save the night!
My observation was, most of customers ordered Special Empanada, Bagnet and Pancit Bagnet... other than that, you can choose from there menu :)
