Home Credit Philippines aims to provide world-class in-store financing (non-cash loans directly in stores) to qualified customers seeking to purchase consumer durable goods such as home appliances, electronic goods and mobile phones.

Established in 1997, Home Credit is a global consumer finance expert, with a leading presence across 10 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and Asia, servicing over 33 million customers. In 2013, Home Credit launched its operations in Metro Manila, the Philippines, with a blueprint for further expansion to other regions in the future.

What They Do:

Home Credit’s core business is to provide consumer finance lending to qualified mass market customers, often first-time borrowers. Their comprehensive presence across each of markets consists primarily of in-store financing, i.e. non-collateralized, non-cash loans primarily to customers seeking purchases of durable goods and provide this service directly in the shops through the branded “point-of-sales” outlets. This localized approach means that they have an efficient and flexible distribution model as these Point of Sales are supported by close cooperation with various local payment channels including automated payment machines, post offices and cash kiosks and complemented by there own branches in some markets (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus). In selected markets they also provide cash loans, credit cards and retail banking services such as deposits or current accounts.
